Established in 2017 with the support of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, it was among the first to introduce the concept of “Fashion IP,” with a mission to transform top designers and artists into scalable intellectual properties and foster meaningful collaborations between fashion IPs and leading brands. Its core business includes the management and operation of international fashion IPs (designers and artists), cross-industry collaborations, IP licensing, and the development of global fashion IP rankings.

To date, Fashion Exchange has partnered with renowned fashion IPs and over 100 brands across more than 20 industries, delivering a series of high-impact and commercially successful projects. Since 2019, Fashion Exchange, in partnership with CBNData, has released the annual Fashion IP 100, a leading industry ranking that evaluates the commercial value and influence of global fashion IPs in the Chinese market. In addition, Fashion Exchange independently publishes the Global Fashion IP Report, highlighting evolving consumer trends in China and the year’s most innovative case studies.
